This immediately tells me if their idea of good is similar to mine. It also shows them your serious about buying tea even if you don't buy their 'best' teas. It's an ice breaker. Some of these shops just have workers that are doing their job. They are not really into tea. It takes time to find shops that are knowledgeable and hospitable. A good shop will always invite you to sit and drink tea right away. It's part of the culture.
By "best", do you mean "the most expensive"? Otherwise, how is it possible to determine *the* best

I've never heard of that particular vendor before, but that does look good. I'm low on money right now but I might pick that up some time down the road.

It is a pitty that only a few vendors are selling them and you cannot
get a subscription anywhere...
I've recently returned from The World Tea Expo (West) and spoke with some people there that said the previous distributor in the U.S. had problems between shipping from Taiwan and with getting the magazines out in time in the U.S. They said that they will likely soon have a distributor here in the U.S. to make the magazine more available. It's such a beautiful journal and I am excited to have greater access toit.
