It was very good, was a bit more depth and complexity. The leaf seemed a bit more yellow than most.

Natural zhuni is a fine yellow ore. This is according to my tea friend in Malaysia and the hojo god mentions and shows pics of very high iron clays that are yellow ore as well. Plus its extinct and if there is some out there it wouldn't be so easy or cheap to get. YMMV

1) Rough Clay (first version) - This clay was found by Hojo. There are limited stock left cause the artist no longer produce the same ... he is the ultimate authority. Some sarcastically refer to him as "Hojo-god." But he is into clay more so than any other dealer of Japanese Kyusu-s.

... and the kettle cannot last up to 50 years of usage. Thanks for the clarification. I remember the tetsubin being heated on an induction heater in Hojo's shop. It was quite quick, but, maybe they poured water from a stainless kettle already heated into the tetsubin. Cannot remember clearly.

Please note that the induction heater can not be used for the small kettle which the diameter of bottom area is less than 80mm.
