Silk Road Tea - Hong Tao Mao Feng
aka: Red Peach
I had this tea this morning after not having it for awhile and although it is over a year old it still was fabulous. I thought it was worth mentioning again.

Sounds good I will keep it in mind for my next black tea exploration
How is that site with keeping up with freshness? I notice they mention no dates, but some of those pics sure do look good.

Ya know, I don't know. But it doesn't seem to be a problem with black teas. Or not so I notice. I wouldn't try any oolongs that were undated - but some are I see.

I haven't tried the read peach, but this is one of my favorite black teas and one of the most complex I've encountered.

I have had some very old black teas that seem to have lost little in quality. Not my experience with the other kinds, whcih seem more delicate, time-wise

I'm a big fan of SRT, and their Hong Tao Mao Feng is always very good. Not quite bracing enough for my morning cuppa, but a nice, refined black tea that I enjoy in the afternoon.
