I have only been a member for 1 month so far, so that is the only one I have tried. But this one was quite good.

I know Mim estate but I don't know the tea seller in the UK. There was only 1 seller of this tea in Darjeeling that I could find. They had the best Darjeelings I've had but they were more costly than the one you bought. Higher grade and whole leaf teas. Very hard to find. Mim estate seems a little hard to find info about, a quick search got me almost nothing. The seller for Mim estate in Darjeeling is a small shop in town. I have no way of getting in touch with them. No website. I believe Mim is government owned or controlled. I also think it is an organic producer. With Darjeelings, you have to pay attention to the grading and also the invoice #'s of the pickings. You really have to have somebody there who knows the teas and knows the difference between pickings to stay on top of it. Darjeeling makes for a very nice holiday!

Stuffing a small pot with this today, both looks like and has flavour notes of dark honey. Very warming.

Opened a small bag of Maloom estate black today, no info on year or pluck was available but I really enjoyed this one, aromatic and a little sharp but in a good way, tingling on my tongue for a long time afterwards.
