2011 Sun Moon Lake Red Tea from EoT

first tea to almost defeat ALL my teascoops at transfer from packet to pot

first tea brewed in a reconditioned old-ish purple-clay pot off the bay [cost me all of 0.01 GBP + postage but i love its feeling in the hand]

first time trying Sun Moon Lake: it smells like tea

hmm .. i only have 20gms of this tea, do i buy more now or wait for the 2012

I still have some of this tea from EoT from a couple of years ago. It's wonderful stuff and has kept very well. My fingers seem to work best instead of the tea scoops! Buy NOW!

Makalu Flowery FF 2011

This is the first Nepali FF I get an opportunity taste. It is very similar to Darjeeling, reminds me of those of Risheehat. Energetic, fresh fragrance, light floral notes with light hints of herbs. Crisp bergamot flavor. I have to mention the beautiful large whole leaves. Tea made ​​solely with flashy*. One of the best black teas that I had a chance to drink.


Tara Black FF 2011

Tea with a short name of Tara - another Nepali FF which I have an opportunity cost. Comes from plantation Nave Arya Tara. Tea tannic dark, as I call it - impatient. Sensitive to the brewing time. The next time it brews a typical gong fu. We'll see;) I do not sense floral notes as recommended by the manufacturer. Peppery taste that occurs mostly in Nepal SF teas, not FF. This mildly confusing green leaves. Worse than the last. Reminds me too much SF so rather think of it as a tea to sip everyday.

Today I drank Himalaya Mist SF 2011 from eherbata. Strong high mountain tea.

And Darjeeling Jungpana FF 2012 from Five Star Tea. Its so fresh!
