English Breakfast tea bags (And most tea bags in general) make me gag after steeping. Absolutely disgusting! I recently decided to brew some up that someone bought me of Twinings English Breakfast and my stomach still hasn't recovered from sniffing the bag afterwards. I'm more put off by tea bags now than I ever was.

I love Earl Grey but if you're going to buy it bagged the quality varies a great deal. Earl Grey is cheap enough loose that it doesn't matter too much. I don't drink it that often but I do list it as one of my favorite teas, especially when it has an Assam base.

No, I also don't like it. I mainly drink black tea so it's not an exclusive thing. Guess I'm not a bergamot fan. I tried Lady Grey and thought that one better.

Sometimes I'll still have bagged black tea in the mornings, just to save time--but, although I once loved it, I don't enjoy Earl Grey any more. It was trying a golden Yunnan tea that actually put me off Earl Grey; the subtle citrus notes in the tea itself made the bergamot added to Earl Grey seem forceful and harsh.

Not bagged, not loose, not at all. Just don't care for Bergamot.

Five years and I still have not brewed this gifted tea:

Maybe after ten I can blog on "aged" Earl Grey!

I do not like Earl Grey!

3-4 cups of tea a day, but do not prefer any flavoring.

I love delicately flavoured earl greys, and ONLY with a darjeeling base. And enjoy a good London Fog.
