Ditto. Some of my favorites are oolongs, but please don't call me an "oolongian," lol.

Too bad the politicians can't get along as well as TeaChatters do!

I'm glad we can all have differences in taste and yet still be friendly and have fun.

We need a better name for the Green Clan, though.
According to Chip, it seems like the Green Clan is the Borg in disguise.

Even though black tea drinkers seem to be the red-headed step children of this site, I think we deserve a name.
Oooohhh, red-headed to me means Irish. How about Irish (Breakfast) (Golden) Monkeys? Actually, I like the Dark Side!

And what about the White Tea lovers? Maybe they enjoy their individuality and don't want to be part of a clique. :)

I missed all the fun today!!! :D

It is all in fun, of course. A little FRIENDLY rivalry/banter amoung tea friends. I love teas in all categories actually. Perhaps my "feeble attempts to dominate with greens" and downplay oolongs helped to elevate oolongs...there is no such thing as bad pubicity they say. And I am actually very excited to see the renewed enthusiasm for oolongs. It is amazing!

The Dark Side is catchy...now Pu-heads need to work on their image.

The Green Tea Collective seems to have stuck, maybe by default. Oolongians...Oolongonians...?

And now The Dark Side.

The white tea heads need to step up too.

Yah fo sho, Oolong was a just a little-known, downtrodden shrub till Chip came along and bashed it. Really kick-started the whole Oolong industry, so they say Image

Well, the Pu-Heads have pretty much given up looking for a cool name. They have the bottom rung of that ladder, the pariahs of the tea-name world. We're never coming back from down there.

Is it hubris, or did I invent the term oolongians? It's really quite ugly enough to be my creation in the Pouchong Oolongians thread.

I like The Dark Side, but since so many of us started with black tea and then wandered away from it, the motto should really be Come Back Home to the Dark Side. Also should appeal to that old fart craving to be an adolescent bad boy/girl again.

Too bad Gladys Knight doesn't have one for black tea like she has that one for oolongs.

Hee, hee. Looks like I coined a name.

{preens proudly}

Now, what do we call the aficionados of white tea? The Whiteheads?
