Zarafina Golden Monkey?

by noah » Aug 13th, '08, 17:06

I was at my local linens & things (which are closing) and found a tin of Zarafina golden monkey on sale for $6.00 so I decided to give it a buy because it was so cheap. Has anyone ever tried this? How was it?

Correct me if I'm wrong someone, but I think Zarafina was reselling Adagio teas. I know they wuyi cha they sent me was Adagios. I'm guessing the Golden Monkey is the same one Adagio sells, though maybe a year or so old. I'd give it a try.

It was in a tin similar to the Adagio 4oz tin. As far as it being adagio resold tea, when they sent you the tea was it in an adagio tin? Mine is in a tin very similar to the adagio tin but says zarafina on it.

I looked on their website, I guess only certain teas are adagio, the golden monkey is their own brand. Anyone but me think their tea maker is overpriced?

The Golden Monkey I have had has been quite good from Adagio.

Do you mean the triniTEA? Too much technology for me! :D

I really like the UtiliTEA and for a variable temp stainless steel kettle with panache, I think it is a very good value.

I think Noah meant the Zarafina tea maker.

What is it? $100 now? I think about a year ago it was $150. Scary.
