What are your favorites and from where?
I have two very dear to my heart right now:

I haven't found one I liked yet...I was going to say you sent me one I liked, but I now think it was that Darjeeling Oolong that tasted so good and not a Nilgiri.

Ack, I honestly can't remember, we have exchanged a bunch!
But I think you'd remember these leaves, they are very showy
and quite large and fluffy.

Nilgiri is on my must-try list! You tempted me to go looking at TeaSource... but I am resisting for now, since I have a boatload of darjeeling coming soon.

I've been wanting to try Nilgiri also, I need to wait until budget allows to order any. At this rate, it will probably be after Christmas.

I have been drinking - and lowing - a medium quality Nilgiri. Now I'm very curious to try a really good one! I drank Nilgiri yesterday that was from the Chamraj estate, but it turned out to be really low quality.
From my tea-notes. "Low bitterness, a hint of sweetness. Some taste of roasted nuts and cocoa. The aftertaste lasts long and is a little bit dry but most of all pleasant. This is a "typical black tea" but oh so much more complex than most everyday blacks!"

I am wrong in stating that Nilgiris have a flavor profile
more like a Darjeeling? Actually to me, being very
untrained, I can't tell the difference.

I'm confused. You say it is a low quality, but your notes sound very positive. Are you talking about 2 different teas or are you saying that even a low quality Nilgiri is a good tea? Any tea that tastes good is pretty high quality in my book.

It's 2 different teas. Sorry I see now my message looks confused. The notes are from the good Nilgiri I've been drinking ^_^

Yes. Here's what I ordered:
Nilgiri, Glendale Estate
Nilgiri, Glendale Estate, Handmade
South Indian Iyerpadi OP, ORGANIC
Nilgiri Tamil Nadu Blend
and this one:
Dooars Oodlabari Estate
which looked interesting.
I can't wait, although I can see my husband's eyes rolling when he sees more tea arriving!

Got my teasource order today. I can't believe how fast it got here!
Of course, since Victoria has so highly recommended it, I had to try the Glendale Handmade first. All I can say is Victoria is SO right to love this tea! It's sooo good.
Now I'm afraid that the others I ordered will be a let down after trying the Handmade.
