Yeah, I guess they're not kidding when they say that. :)

I think we need to consider swapping samples of some of our Nilgiris here. No sense in everyone having to buy the same stuff. I have a couple new ones on the way and I own 3 presently. What do you all think? Maybe just list what we have and we can PM each other with sample swap options?

I don't currently have any to swap but would be willing to order some... just need a list of what everyone else has to share so I won't duplicate.

Here's my list:

Nilgiri, Glendale Estate
Nilgiri, Glendale Estate, Handmade
South Indian Iyerpadi OP, ORGANIC
Nilgiri Tamil Nadu Blend

You guys will have to give me some guidelines on swapping, how large a sample should I send?

Yeah, if our group gets larger we'll need a name ... Nilgirians? Nilgiriites?

I usually send enough for a couple of trys.

The gram weight would vary depending on the tea.

It's all part of getting more interest growing for Black Teas!

I'd like to see this happen for Darjeelings too, but wow, that would be huge.

Darjeeling swap might be better as a small box pass, exclusive to Darjeelings. Mmmmmm. I would contribute!

I'll see what sort of Nilgiri I can find that isn't already up for swap.

OK I have 3 Nilgiri offerings from SpecialTeas coming...

Tiger Hill OP (CL)
Thiashola TGFOP1
Thiashola Organic SFTGFOP1

Probably not as nice as some of the others, but will be interesting to compare vendors and prices. I have been reasonably satisfied with most of my SpecialTeas experiences.

Yay! Looks like we'll all have a great selection after we're done trading! I'm sure the ones you ordered will be excellent!

I've had the Thiashola TGFOP1 and found it quite nice. You will all enjoy it. I will be curious what everyone has to say about the others.

I'm placing my first Tea Source order on the 5th, or thereabouts, and I'll be ordering some of the handmade Nilgiri. In the meanwhile, I am jealous of those of you with stuff to swap. :)

This site has several Nilgiris that look interesting. Has anyone ordered from here?
