I think that it would be wonderful if Adagio would start to carry a premium grade of Matcha!

Ah, the matcha question! We have been asked to carry matcha, but as it does have a short shelf life, it wouldn't be very efficient to do so.

We do, however have Gyokuro- which matcha derives from. Tasty :)

SURE! Actually, I am not. But if anything, you'll probably have to pulverize it to smithereens. i tried making my own matcha powder using a pestle and mortar to not success

Thus the sarcasm. I was a bit surprised to read Michael_C's post about making Matcha, but I knew it would take some work.

You could still theoretically do it, but be aware that matcha is made from tencha, which is (essentially) gyokuro without stems/veins. So, you'll have to de-stem and de-vein your leaves first. Happy grinding!
