It's not in the list yet ! To be fair, another sign mentions 'no handheld devices'. So that covers them all I presume I wonder if it covers coffee (tea !) cups since they are hand held after all.geeber1 wrote:Or "No photography while driving?"
Still, that's one thing that drove me by, so to speak. People were texting and emailing all along while driving and now there's a ban against that and I, I still have to figure out how people can write emails or any text while driving in the first place. Baffles me. Taking pictures, OK. But writing emails ?
Ah well.

Re: Does anyone else drink tea in the shower?
... A few weeks ago I passed someone reading a book while driving (poorly). It was near a PSU campus, so I am assuming a little last minute study before an exam?
Re: Does anyone else drink tea in the shower?
I was riding in a double decker bus a while back, and saw a person reading a novel while driving. They had the novel open propped against the steering wheel while driving. From the Birdseye view I could see him occasionally turn pages, so he wasn't just checking some last minute info. This was on the interstate

I saw the same thing a couple years ago (though I wasn't on a bus, I was driving right next to him!). I've also seen newspapers, which baffles me even more, since that covers up half the view of the road!!beachape wrote:I was riding in a double decker bus a while back, and saw a person reading a novel while driving. And they'd better not keep me from eating/drinking while on the road - can you imagine the dehydration from a 10 hour drive with nothing to drink (especially caffeine)? Yikes!! I get thirsty after about an hour in the car, 10 would be torture! (And yes, I realize that I could stop and get something, but that requires stopping, and momentum says "keep driving!" - in a 10 hour drive I'll normally stop twice.)
Re: Does anyone else drink tea in the shower?
It's not unusual to see people reading here. Some freeways are notoriously slow to the point of stopping every morning and people do read books. Crazy, but true.

I can understand if it's stopped traffic, but on the freeway at 65mph? I was a little scared.Victoria wrote:It's not unusual to see people reading here. Some freeways are notoriously slow to the point of stopping every morning and people do read books. Crazy, but true.

I have to laugh at the women who are putting on mascara while driving. Big OUCH if you had to slam on the brakes!

Re: Does anyone else drink tea in the shower?
I tend to poke myself in the eye due to plain 'ol clumsiness, no caffeine or driving involved! Mascara pokes hurt like heck, don't they?entropyembrace wrote:yeah I don´t get how they can do that either lol...or on the bus/train...I poke my eyes sometimes as it is...uhm...shaky hands have nothing to do with caffeine intake right?geeber1 wrote:I have to laugh at the women who are putting on mascara while driving. Isn't that just as bad as folks who text while driving, and cause injury and deaths?geeber1 wrote:I have to laugh at the women who are putting on mascara while driving. Big OUCH if you had to slam on the brakes!
