Enjoying the wonderful taste of a sheng puerh brew while listening to the captivating music (very Yin) of classical composer Sophia Dussek.

Listening to some quality vintage Spanish popular music from the 60s after drinking some 2012 sheng Bulang. In this instance Raphael in Balada de la Trompeta (Ballad of the Trumpet).

Thumbs up!

Listened to the reissue of Sleep's album Dopesmoker way too loudly while drinking some heavily roasted Yancha.

Oddly, it was a pretty good pairing.

Back to some "serious" stuff:

Telemann's concerto concerto a 6 for Flute & Violin

Paired with a lovely shui xian session.

Today I listened to
Wild Rose from the album Orchid by Shao Rong

It rained all night and fresh air reigned the morning. :)

Some Greek popular music with aged sheng which brings me memories from my Mediterranean roots followed by the captivating medieval music of the Sufi musician Yasmeen Olya.

What comes next is pure soul:

Paco de Lucía flamenco guitar master and virtuoso paired up with another master vocalist Camarón de la Isla. The tea chosen for this event was dancong Milan Xiang...a real treat! :P

And finished with another of the two greatest performers of Flamenco, Lole y Manuel: Bulerías de la Luna

¡Flamenco y Olé! :P

Mina yet again to start the New Year while I'm having some shou puerh (Haiwan '08 cake). Here's another version of one of my favourite songs of this great singer already posted here. Mind in ancient China and heart in Italy.
