Maiko
Has anyone ordered from this site (Maiko)?
http://www.maiko.ne.jp/english/index.html
Many of the prices are listed in yen. Does it automatically convert to US dollars when you place an order?
How is their customer service?

I just received my first order a week or so ago. Their customer service is very good. If you ask a question, expect a quick response.
They also have an ebay site that sells a lot of Japanese teaware. If you contact Maiko in Japan, they will discount the price of the teaware if ordered direct from Maiko instead of their ebay site.
The Japan Store
They must have just added a converter right with their yen prices. When I ordered I used paypal and converted it that way, but your credit card will handle it if you prefer. I just liked control of knowing what my conversion would be.

I really like Maiko. I recommend their Maruyama sencha. It is quite good and at a good price.
The sencha just above that I wasn't crazy about, however it was interesting.
This is a vendor I will make a staple of.

Credit and debit cards automatically convert. The problem lies with the time it takes some overseas companies to charge you. An acquaintance of mine purchased some items from France, and it took them nearly 4 months to charge! One can easily forget about a purchase over that amount of time!
