Good Chocolate

I know there are a few Chocolate enthusiasts here, so I thought I'd share this.

I'm around a lot of chocolate each day, and it all starts to blend together, but this stuff I had today was amazing. Its from Chuao, and its a bar of 68% dark chocolate, cacao nibs, and nutmeg. Nutmeg and chocolate was very, very good together.

Hm. They also have a bar flavored with Earl Grey tea. Interesante. Muy interesante.

I had some chocolate with my sencha the other day, and it was surprisingly good. But I guess the Japanese already figured that out. :D

I recently ordered some chocolate bars from http://www.artisanduchocolat.com/Artisa ... efault.asp
and it really blew my tastebuds away.

The chocolate is made fresh and shipped fast with a store in fridge recommendation and a two week best before date. They claim preservatives were first added to chocolate during the First or Second, I can't remember which, World War and for some reason have never been removed from by far the majority of chocolate.

All of the bars were phenomenal but one in particular stood out. Unfortunately I can't remember which but it was the darkest milk chocolate I've tasted and really did combine the best of both worlds.

These people are not only making fantastic chocolate but are also on a mission to change the way we produce and consume chocolate.

Space, that chocolate sounds lovely. I am in a nutmeg kick where I've been adding it to everything. I had a lousy chai this morning, but added like 2 tbsp of nutmeg and all was better in the world.

I got in an order of Vosgses chocolate, which is may favorite artisanal brand. I have to hold off eating it though, cos it is my xmas gift. A little early, but I think it will be fine. I'll eat it regardless.

Does anybody dabble in chocolate making? i picked up Andrew Schott's Making Artisanal chocolates and haven't been able to get the time to make something good from it. I have made simple things such as my famous peppermint white chocolate bark, but nothing fancier than that.

Usually this time of year I make dark chocolate peanut butter treats. Yum!

Bissinger's 75% Dark Chocolate is my regular indulgence. So good. They sell it by the pound. And for an occasional treat - their 'Bear Claws.' :D

I currently call Dark Chocolate my other health food..next to tea.

I am trying not to think about chocolate these days, just eating it daily. Yet somehow I never (virtually) gain any weight.

Dark chocolate with peanuts or almonds simply rocks my world. Peanut butter will certainly do.
