Some friends are coming over from china and I wan to ask them to bring me some tea. What should I ask for?

Whatever it is, just ask for something really good. You could see if they could find you some good yellow tea... That's a noveltea that doesn't cross the border very often.

Some of their greens are interesting, Long Jing, Zhu Ye Qing, Lu An Gua Pian are some of my favs. As Fuka said, ask for a good one, they have many grades.
An authentic Tai Ping Hou Kui is also very good.

Those are great picks, I'd add Golden Buddha, Rougui and Dahongpao (Scarlet Robe) to that list.

Many thanks to all for your input! I've sent my Chinese friends an email with your suggestions and accepted their own recommendations as well. I'll tell you what they brought me when it gets here!

Finally they brought me some chinese flower tea. At least, that's what they called it. It had some green tea in it, small rose buds and a Jasmine flower ball. It was really tasty! Too bad it's all gone
