Sugar Glider can be one of the best pet. They are playful, loyal and friendly. Give him a good attention to have a very strong special bonding.

No pics of guinea pigs, so we'll have to correct that glaring omission.

Here is a nice one of ours.

Nice one Sherubtse. Does he/she have a name?

Fuji returns ... and shedding some light on the subject.

You can see he was pretty severely injured when he was a tiny tiny tiny baby. An animal had crushed his palate, nose, and upper jaw. It was all terribly infected (and smelllllly!). The vet did what he could and we did the rest including some home surgery.

And here he is a few years later. He is a miracle kitty for sure. He looks scary and makes even scarier noises, but he is amazingly friendly. He also comes running anytime his name is called.

The sugar glider is cute. Our family had a flying squirrel as a pet at one time.

Chip, I love seeing pictures of Fuji - he's so darn cute and obviously has a very strong spirit :)

I found a stray kitten this week, and if I don't find a home soon, she will probably become a family member. After my little shih tzu Dylan died of a probable brain tumor last February, I adopted another shiba, Taizo, who turned 1 in August.

Awww, sorry for the early passing of Bear, Woozl!

Hope, Thanks. Yes, Fuji is a very spirited cat indeed, and so full of personality! Now if only he would let us trim his claws which are lethal weapons.

Taizo looks very happy to fill your void! Speaking of flying squirrels ... remind me to tell you our flying squirrel story sometime. It is pretty funny.

This here is Jai-ja. (pronounced yi-yah) This was taken almost two years ago - so she's 8 in this photo. I adopted her from the ASPCA in 2001 when she was 6 weeks old. She was named Jai-ja, because for the longest time, when she opened her mouth to meow, this little squeak emanated - and that's what it sounded like she was saying. After being shut in the bathroom so repair folk could fix a sink, I quickly discovered she DID know how to meow - quite loudly, I might add.

She's my little Stinkerbell, and has quite the personality on her. She likes to snuggle (on her terms) and run around at all hours throwing her toy mice around. When she's feeling rambunctious, she'll roll all over the floor, and try to lull you into a false sense of security with the above pose. Don't do it! It's a trap!

Peace, love, and tea (and cats!)
~Jess
