Fuji Update!
Our little hellllion is doing great. Just lost one of his 'canine front fangs' now he doesn't look so vampirish ... just goofy mean. The whiskers on his left side are long and full, while the right side boasts only 1 full 'whiska' with the others still very choppy.

He runs through the house as if he were the King of the Hill, oh I guess he is, and especially likes to sit on the keyboard while swatting at the screen or anything within reach.

One of these days, you will be shocked to see baby pics to current ones posted here! Honestly we are working on it.

Any new pets out there?

My fiance and I were planning on getting an apartment together for a while. I had told him that if we were moving in together, my cat (Pixie) was coming with me. He was fine with that, but wanted his own kitty. We moved into our apartment on Saturday, October 31st. First thing Sunday morning, my fiance was at his computer looking at the classified ads and craigslist for a cat. By Sunday evening, we ended up with the little guy pictured below. His previous owner had originally taken him in as a foster kitty, got him his shots, and had him neutered and was now looking for a home for him before she moved out of her apartment and into a house. She had two other cats, but didn't want a third when moving into a new place. My fiance named the little guy 'Odin." Odin is six months old and all of four pounds. He enjoys playing with loud toys late at night, mooching human food, tormenting my kitty just by being in the same room, and chasing my computer mouse pointer across the screen. He's incredibly cuddly and loves to be held. He was being surprisingly photogenic this morning before attacking my cellphone when I was trying to get a decent picture of him.

Limited by our lease here, my roommate for his birthday got two Dwarf African water frogs which are proving to be fun to watch, though they need to stay in their container.

Wow, Odin is either a tiny guy or my guy is huge. My foster kitten Ringo is 6lbs and he is only 13 weeks old!

Odin is a tiny little guy. He has a smaller bone structure and I doubt he will be big cat when he is fully grown.

Ringo is adorable! I love the stripes!

Boy, I agree w/horsencl!!! Ringo looks monstrous, but cute!

Fuji is even smaller than Odin, horsencl. Adorable picture, love that pose.

Thanks for sharing your kitties with us.

I've got two female cats. They are sisters, so they are almost always together...and yet they are totally different from each other. The grey and black one is named Static (because she looks like static) and the solid white one is named Noise (get it? Static, white noise...).

Kitty Rescue Mission. The most recent and possibly the most dramatic, "Fuji." I think DW so named this Fuji in an attempt to garmer my support and adoration for this baby.

Fuji received some home surgery  . His nostrils has been crushed and mutilated by some animal. His palate was split in two and an infected mess. Much of his upper jaw was severed so no upper front teeth/fangs.

The doc gave him slim to none chances of surviving ... making him a miracle survivor. His nasal cavity is virtually crushed closed, and thus he snorts like a pig, which is great when he wants to sleep on someone's head at night.

Apologies for the blurry phone camera photos since still have not remedied camera/program compatability issues.

Tiny ...

And more recently ... his whiskers snap off ...

Aww such a sweetie! How fortunate to have his unfortunate injury near your house. You saved his sweet life. A very caring and generous thing to do. Thanks for sharing the pics!
