Hello, I'm new to tea chat. I'm in the starting phase of opening up a tea house. I was wondering if anyone could recommend good books to read up on tea preparation and culture.

"The True History of Tea" by Mair and Hoh was just published
"Liquid Jade: The Story of Tea from East to West" by Beatrice Hohenegger
Michael Harney's "The Harney & Sons' Guide to Tea"

Harney's book is in bargain books at B&N for $4.98.

There is a 'sticky' post at the top of this forum which is all about tea books which you could look through with comments on lots of tea books.

I learned a lot from The Story of Tea, and the Harney & Sons Guide to Tea. They both helped me get up the confidence to keep stretching outside of my two or three tea comfort zone.

Particularly useful was the Harney's suggestion to taste groups of related teas at the same time, to really learn about the differences as well as the similarities.

Is there any audiobooks I could get?
