I have been looking for scrolls for around 10 months. They can be almost as addicting as teaware ... almost. So, I hope you will share a scroll with your fellow TeaChatters.

My favorite themes are cranes, pine trees, and bamboo to name a few. This one is pretty old, supposedly, but no info was available, nevertheless, it is a fave of Mrs. Chip and me.

I had to look away from them for a while, it was cutting into tea and teaware budgets.

Here's one of our newest editions, a present I received last week. I really tend to like the cranes in pairs. The subtle colors portrayed in this one are extremely pleasing to the eye. Hope you enjoy it.

Ooooh how did I miss this thread until now? Those are absolutely gorgeous!

You people are killing me. I can't afford to fall in love with anything else.

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

Thanks everyone, they really are quite striking.
The ambiance they provide is awesome, especially while sipping tea.

This is not exactly a scroll but it is certainly inspired by one. It was drawn by a friend of mine in high school in the style of Japanese block print. I believe it is charcoal pencil but he did a lot of similar cross hatching work in pen.

I have been hanging it ever since, and had it framed a few years ago. It graces the entry way to my house.

Don't have a photo of the scroll (my only one) yet.
This is not a scroll, but something on my wall that I like a lot

Thanks everybody for sharing these... very interesting!

Tim, who is the original author/painter of your scroll?

Is there a poetry translation? ;-)
