Thanks. Yes..... the tearoom is a nice place to be.

Those low chairs made for tatami mats are actually pretty common new additions in Japan. I was introduced to them at a friends place in Motegi years ago.....and got some for the washitsu heya (Japanese room).

Changing of the Scroll Day

This is a little tea ceremony scroll that I found at an antiques flea market at Toji in Kyoto a few weeks ago. (I still need one of those devices that lets me hang the scrolls at various heights.)
