Rather surprised I haven't responded to this thread yet. But Chip you do one heck of a job, making this the only forum of this size that I have ever been to that is free from a lot of the drawbacks that occur any time a large group of people communicate on the Internet.

Life seems to be interfering with my TeaChatting lately, and with my tea-drinking too, for that matter. So, I am late to the party, but wanted to add my +++++1 to this thread.

Chip, I've told you before how much I appreciate your hard work here on the forum, your friendship, and the good advice you are so willing to share... but let me say it again. Thank you so much for being you, and for all you do. You're awesome, even though your bad influence on tea and teawares has cost me a small fortune.  I think I'll brew a cup in your honor.

Sarah

Chip, you are my knight in green armor; my Tea buddy; my Tea hero; my . . .! Okay, Jo's liable to get jealous!

I haven't looked beyond TeaDay in so long, I missed this until today!!!

Really want to say "Thank you" for all you do for TeaChat and we Chatters. Unfailingly helpful. And, by the way, found out the granddaughter really likes Japanese greens pretty much only with Japanese meals!!  All the times I saw her on webcam drinking Tea, it turns out to have been Earl Grey! Now what do I do with all this green Tea I have???? ROF

I just have to chime in and say thank you Proinsias for starting this thread.

And as Chip says, thank you kindly everyone for all the expressions of appreciation.

I see all the time and effort Chip puts into TeaChat, he truly has 'what is best for the forum and it's members' always in the forefront.

THB, he is actually slowly assimilating you all into the GreenTeaBorgCollective, you just haven't realized it yet and when you do ... well, resistance is futile.

You've heard of the Stepford Wives, haven't you?
