Mikado Gold infuser

Do you sell replacement infusers for the Mikado Gold teapot? I don't see it listed on the product page, although replacement infusers for the regular Mikado pots are listed.

Thanks for the note.

Unfortunately, the Mikado Gold is a limited edition item, and therefore the stock is too limited to break the sets and sell individual replacement parts. The gold infuser that fits this specific teapot only comes when purchased with the teapot.

Apologies for the inconvenience,

The Gold is $10 more than the regular Mikado...so that means if I buy the Gold (since reviews say the regular isn't useful for rooibos or other fine leaves), and I need a new infuser, I'm SOL--I just have an overpriced regular Mikado? I think I'll pass.

Oh don't worry, I'll be buying something from you, just probably not Mikado Gold. Adagio is doing an awesome job--I got my first order in two days, a free sample, and a coupon...if this is standard, I'll be frequenting this place a lot!

So what may be purchased as a close replacement?

Swiss Gold has a nice line of gold plated tea infusers products that are worth looking into if you don't like the options that Adagio is currently offering. http://plymouthtea.stores.yahoo.net/ has a wide variety of them in stock.

I've been using the same Swiss Gold infuser at work for about a year now and it works great for every tea I've tried including rooibos. Super easy to clean, too. After much use it has stained to a dark, rusty brown color but still delivers the same cuppa tea as far as I can tell.

Yeah that is the one minor cosmetic issue with them after a while the gold plating wears off and exposes the stainless steel below, doesn't affect the taste of the tea at all they just don't look as nice anymore.
