confused about "points"

by go green » Nov 4th, '07, 22:35

I'm a little confused about the points program. My understanding is that you get 1 point for every dollar spent, then 10 points for each gift certificate that is redeemed by someone you sent it to. Is this correct?

As of right now, I have 29 points, but by my calculations I should have 45...(2 gift certificates redeemed, one $12 order and one $13 order).

Maybe I misunderstood something...again...just like I didn't really understand how the reviews worked. Can someone enlighten me???

Thanks!

You get ten points for gift certificates sent to other people besides yourself. It sounds like the sent gift certificates you are referring to are your own point-redemption gift certificates. To get the ten points, you need to send $5.00 promo gift certificates to friends and family. When they redeem those gift certificates, you will get 10 points added to your queue.

Hoping this will clear up any confusion- pm me if you're still confused. Maybe I am missing something :).

Remember that dollars spent on shipping don't count towards points! I used to make that mistake when I tried tallying up my points.
