Adagio's Favourites?

by Theo Sinensis » Dec 4th, '07, 00:33

If this question is impossible to answer, then a moderator can just delete it, but I thought I might as well ask it anyway. It came to mind as I was shopping for Adagio teas:

What does Adagio consider to be its best teas? The ones that you're really proud of? I know that everyone has their favourites, but is there a sense in the company that "we really got it right" with a few teas that have been created?

Actually, I'd really like to see the answer on this one too. What does Adagio consider its stars?

by CynTEAa » Dec 10th, '07, 17:53

Ok, that was one long huddle, eh? We thank you for your patience! :D

General consensus of our favorites for 2007:

Golden Monkey
Yunnan Gold (my personal morning addiction)
Tung Ting Oolong #18
Wuyi Ensemble
Green Anji
Green Pekoe
Snowbud
White Peony

Apricot Green
Mango Green
Almond Oolong
Fruit Medley (aka Fruit Sangria)
Berry Blues
Blood Orange

And~

Our Organic Anteadote, especially the new and lovely Organic Oolong!

Please share your thoughts. Did we overlook any of our 'babies'?

We are actually compiling a list of employee favorites that we will add to the Adagio website. I hope to have the code/page in place later this week.

Ed,

Please note that we were asked what we considered our stars, so this is not reflective of personal taste. (Plus, um... not all team members responded...kinda busy this time of year. ;) ) The new feature Ilya is working on will show some interesting staff picks, I believe.

For the record, I do enjoy gyokuro, kukicha and the occasional cup of sencha.

Wow, there's some great stars on that list! I can't wait to see the page Ilya's constructing.
