methods to sweeten tea with honey
I would like some ideas on how to use honey in my tea. Do I put the honey in the pot first and then pour on the hot water? Or do I put the honey in the cup of tea? Thank you for input.

I have moved your topic to Flavored Tea, I also have left a "shadow topic" temporarily.

Re: methods to sweeten tea with honey
Back when I used honey in tea (prior to diagnosis of diabetes) I used to put it in afterwards. I don't know if the tea would completely dissolve the honey if it was put in a cold cup. But now I use splenda in my tea instead of honey. I don't really think it matters much either way, but I'm still a newb to tea so maybe someone else will chime in with an answer.

I put it in the cup first. Stir and enjoy.

When I make Earl Grey, I add honey to the cup, pour the infusion, and stir. Seems to work great.
