Cherry-Flavored Tea

Hi guys and gals, I was wondering if anyone out there could help me find a good cherry-flavored tea. While I usually don't drink flavored teas, I love the smell of fresh cherries and think that it goes great with a white or non-vegetal tea.

I see Adagio has a few, and Camellia Sinensis has one with rose. I also recently ordered the Sakura Sencha from O-Cha to see what kind of effect the plant parts in the blend would have on me, but I'm kind of grasping for straws now because the latter has no fruit itself in the tea. I once tried a blend by Teavana, but it was cough-syrupy, and I've boycotted the place since then.

I'm looking for something very light and fresh that ideally lets the flavor of the tea itself shine through. Maybe I'm asking too much...

Perfect selection for you direct from Japan, a country that truly embraces Sakura (Cherry tree). It is not flavored with oils! It has Sakura leaves in the tea which resembles Kukicha.

Thanks, Chip, I've got some Sakura Sencha on the way from O-Cha. I'll let you know if it turns out to be my cup of tea (cheesy pun intended).

Well, the tea has arrived, and I absolutely love it. They did a great job blending so that the sencha is not overpowered by the cherry leaf stems (that's what they appear to be).

Thanks, jbu2, it may be worth trying out to see if they will ship here. I also ordered some from Camellia Sinensis. It has a cherry fruit taste as opposed to the cherry blossom taste present in O-Cha's Sakura Sencha. I like them both very much, depending on what I'm in the mood for.

it sure worth a try , i emailed them for you and they said they can do it but you need to satle this in the mail this should cost around ~43$ and as writing in there site the tea won World Tea Championship 2011 in the US in Flavored Tea section, i recommend buying the business package because its better then the home version and on top of that it's cheaper
