The Washington Post, Earl Grey Madelines by Dorie Greenspan

Dorie Greenspan is a pretty popular baker in the tea world. This was adapted from a recipe from the world-famous Mariage Freres tea house in Paris, France. I like the idea of infusing butter with tea- wonder if it will work with any sort of recipe?

After someone asked for the recipe on the other forum, I kind of wondered if maybe you couldn't just infuse the butter..a friend of mine used to do that with herbs..

:)

I'm wondering the versitility of the recipe as well. I'm going to try to infuse some butter this weekend with different teas. A rooibos madeline would be quite tasty, I think.
