In year 2006, a lady approached Dayi and specially compressed a batch of tea which is the Golden Color Yun Xiang Raw.

This year the lady had some raw material of 6 years old and she went to Dayi seeking to compress but they refused to make it. So she went to Xiaguan and compressed it.
The taste? Nothing like Xiaguan usual smoky or flowerish taste at all. This taste exactly like a Dayi tea. It has the Dayi signature taste. If the wrapper is not Xiaguan, people would never have guessed. The tea taste like about 6 to 8 years of age but still strong and kicking. It is good from the 1st brew to the 15th brew. Taste wise reminds me of the 5 sons box set (wu zi deng ke).

Here are the photos to this special Xiaguan tea. It even comes with a cert+lab test in the carton box. I am not sure it says, but this is first time I see such lab result coming from Xiaguan.

If this is branded as Dayi for this year tea... I would put this in top 3 of my y2011 preferred Dayi tea. As this is Xiaguan y2011, this is definitely my number 1 preferred Xiaguan. My senior said he has tasted so many young and old Xiaguan and he has never come across such taste in Xiaguan tea.
