not sure what type of insect it is, looks well fried :)

nice and clean bug, suddenly no head, but little legs looks nasty and dangerous with these super sharp claws, taste was crunchy :(

finally bug was judged to be weevil, like Sitophilus, nothing to worry about. It is said rather usual insect for the long time keeping products like rice or tea.

I just found sunflower seed shells in my sheng today. Never having heard about such a find, I thought it was pretty unique. Until I found this thread and thought, "Thank goodness it was only sunflower seeds!"

To be fair, since it's loose leaf, the bug may have been introduced into the tea long after the processing.
