To Adagio Admin Re: Pu-erh

Dear Adagio Admin:

Perhaps I'm not the first one to suggest this, but wouldn't it be great to have a separate category for pu-erh discussions only? They are not exactly green or black or red or yellow...and certainly pu-erh doesn't deserve to be chucked under the "Other" category with Lipton and Tazo teas.

Just my two cents. Thank you.

Agreed. There are certainly enough Pu-Erh fans here to warrant doing so.

Yes, several people here talk about Pu-erh. Wouldn't it be nice for it to have its own forum? :)

And pu-erh is totally a different type of tea than green, black, or white because it uses a true fermentation process to age the tea. I really would like to try some pu-erh since I have never had any before. Does anyone have any site recommendations for good pu-erh?

Yes I also support the idea as well. I also think that if its done it should be done right by also moving all puerh related threads (or at least the ones that mention it in the title) to the new section as its currently a mess with them them being all over the place.

Now it's been done. Cool!! This is kinda nice. :)

Dear Adagio Admin/Owner/Maestro/etc:

This is great! "If you build it, they will come..."

Thank you.

...this is great...I want to get some pu-erh, but I admittedly do not know enough too make wise "investments" in this most unusual and collected tea.

The people speak...and Adagio listens...THANX!!!

Yay! :)

Thanks, Ilya!

A good way of showing your gratitude would be to put in a lot of requests for barley tea! If we get enough suggestions they just might add that, and that'd make me happy!

(Nah, this was mainly Ilya's doing, so if you don't want to suggest the barley, I understand)

Your pimping of barley tea, coupled with a post I read in LJ's communiTEA, have me intrigued.

Do you have a preferred supplier, or do you buy locally?

I'm dying to try it!

Oh, livejournal!

I don't have a supplier...I've had barley tea a few times and have loved it and would love if Adagio would start offering it. That way I could just walk to the other room and get some, rather than having to haunt the Asian markets. I don't think they like me there.

...Richard, it is not that they don't like you, they are actually kinda scared of you...you being a cyclop and all...heheh. Thanx for only showing us half your face.
Have some barley tea, and consider yourself lucky that you have Asian markets. There are none in PA Dutch Country, but there are potatoes made any way possible...probably even potato tea.

Heh, funny you should mention potato tea

scroll down to the liver function section.

I think we should call it "poTEAto", and agree that that sounds disgusting. I'd rather have a real potato any day.

And it's not my fault that I'm a cyclop. I was born this way!
