Ok, I think you mean difference in taste right? Yeah it would be nice to have a side by side comparison. It may be hard to find a high quality Fu Zhuan without golden flowers though.

I just went through the list and compared.
In golden flowers of Fu Zhuan, fungi recognized include:
Aspergillus niger (not in large portion)
Aspergillus cristatus (large portion)
Aspergillus chevalieri (large portion)
(not that I could memorize those names. I just copy-pasted them.
The first one is found in Cha Dao's list of Shu puerh fungi, the other two are not.
That partially explains why golden flowers are rarely seen in shu puerh. When shu puerh has yellow fungi, most of the time they are not the same as golden flowers on Fu Zhuan.
