I came across this on royalpuer.com:
Cha Wang Shu Tea Cake is Sui Yue Zhi Wei Tea Co. Ltd's best tea cake. The raw material is picked from tea trees which are at least 500 years old. This tea cake is the benchmark for many Pu'er tea connoisseur in China.
Anyone know this cake or factory ?

Don't know the factory or the cake, but it seems to be a bit of hyperbole to claim ANY tea from 2011 is a benchmark

If it wasn't picked by monkeys or nubile virgins with golden scissors it's just another marketing ploy.
Just think how good Mcdonalds claims it's food is.

And the price is exorbitant

While not the lowest priced vendor , I thought royalpuer.com was considered reputable .
According to their website , they are managed by the same group of people that has been running TeaSpring.com .
That cake is certainly pricey and making a bold claim ; was just curious about it .
