Has anybody had experience with these 3 years of 7581? Any comments or personal notes? Also, any idea of where to check a current market price for a CNNP 2004 7581? I have looked around on the net, but prices vary greatly, especially with (what I suspect) fakes on taobao.

I have a 2002 brick and I find it very smooth and very creamy. Dosnt really last that long (maybe 6 infusions) but its a real winner. I picked it up for $13 about 4 years back and even then it was a steal. It quickly sold out and I have been trying to find cheap versions ever since. Market value for that brick now is likely around 50-60 USD.

What kind of price tag do you think it warrants? If you had to re-purchase that $13 brick for $30, would you? $40? Worthy of a mortgage? :D

If your a fan of 7581 then its worth checking out Sunsing since they have a couple 90's ones for $50-60. The 95 is pretty good. Its wet stored but has had plenty of time to dry out. Woody and sweet.

Puerh shop has a 2006 that is decent. Not sure how much of a difference your going to see in a couple extra years since the 06 is ready to drink now.

Holy cow... hadn't really ever seen that site before (sun sing) -- everything seems priced at 5-10x of other places. And with minimal description...

A 1998 yao ban mushroom tuo for $500....?? You can still get 2002s for $40.

I've purchased from Sunsing before. It's definitely pricey but what disturbs me is that the teas are wet stored. The containers that comes with the teas have a smell of packaging material, I sent them an email to let them know and they did not bother to reply.
Others may have better buying experience from them.

I would hope that people know that the listed prices are in HONG KONG DOLLARS, and that you need to divide by 12-13 to get US Dollar equivalent...

I honestly love my brick of 7581 but im not sure if I would spend $30 on another brick, honestly I likely would but I would be a bit on the fence about it. I have been doing some searching on TaoBao and have found some 2003's from about $7-13. Though many of these are obviously fake, Im trying to find some reliable sources as I would like to bring in a few sample bricks to see if it constitutes a bulk purchase for the collection.

I would hope it was pretty clear from a couple of posts in this thread that people DON'T know, but thank you for pointing it out! That puts it much more in line with something in the realm of reasonable....

The exchange is 1.00 U.S. Dollar = 7.77 Hong Kong Dollars. Your total should be divided by 7.7

They also give a 10% discount when you log into your account and add items to your cart. If i remember correctly that discount fully covered the cost of shipping.

Sorry, I meant multiply by .12...

I was just surprised that people would think that a shop in a foreign country that caters to customers in some other hemisphere would automatically sell in US Dollars. Taiwan also sells with Dollars, but mostly use NT, and rarely use the confusing yuan.

Thanks, I also didn't notice the HKD , price doesn't seem so crazy now, but still pretty high.
