The case of the missing sheng

I ordered some goodies from YS last week to be delivered to my office. I'm not a big sheng expert and learning about it at the moment, so I got two of the small cakes Scott has now and this tiny brick which provided me with 3 different things to sample without breaking the bank. USPS claims the package was delivered to my office this Saturday which is weird because no one is here. So the package is AWOL. Mailroom doesn't know where it is, USPS doesn't know where it is.

I have to say Scott was incredibly helpful and is resending my order which is so nice of him (and definitely ensuring I will order from him again!). But I am shengless for the time being. Gah.

Shenglessness is not fun. Hope you have some shu or oolong to see you through!

I have some shu at home (actually I have a lot of shu at home!) and a little sheng I got from Puershop. I did get a shipment from Upton today with some toasted mate, a Kenilworth Ceylon, and two greens--Golden Jade and a Huangshan Mao Feng.

I may brew a little shu in my gaiwan later. I think it's perfect for after work unwinding. Plus my allergies are a mess and I think I may just want to veg out in front of the TV.

Vegging out with tea, one of my favorite pastimes.

Shu is good for vegging out since less demanding than sheng...

Scott has been nothing but fair with me.

He is a great source and comes about as highly recommended as they come.

Hope it works out for you, and hope the tea turns up soon.

It's what I ended up doing. :-)

Glad to see you were taken care of so quickly.
You are shengless no more.

It has happened to me with YS as well, it was a teapot though. Missing, Scott did send me a replacement. Obviously, there are thieves somewhere along the line but who knows where.

I had it delivered to work and I've heard people complain of the same thing. Working for a big company sometimes things get delivered to different offices for no reason. Once the mailroom sent a package of mine to an entirely different building because someone assumed I had moved there.

I love the tea I got from YS. There's this 2011 mini cake with 2009 leaves in it that's really amazing, especially for the price.
