Saw this deal. Not buying it until they come in ceramic or clay.

Highlights

• Mr. Tea Infuser
• Just load his little silicone pants and perch him in your cup
• Moulded from food-safe, tasteless, soft silicone rubber

Tea can be done in many ways but a hardcore tea drinker will curse and complain that everything isn’t right when it wasn’t done in his way. Today’s deal lets you sip tea your way without a fuss with Mr.Tea Infuser.

Silicone is apparently temperature resistant up to very high degrees and shouldn't impart an off flavors, but just like you I'm a bit weary about it.

Little "metal balls" in which you can put chunks of pu erh / whatever tea you like are commonly sold in China for those weary of silicone.

So you have a hot water, you put a little guy into his "hot tub" and suddenly the water near the pants of that little guy turns yellow...

Technically he is peeing into water you will drink.

I'd take silicone over metal any day... though really infusers are pointless... though I did find one that I like:

sadly it's just a design concept... though it's one of the few more modern brewing devices that has caught my eye... mostly I like my teapotts...

Did you have to mention that?

That thing has like 70 reviews on amazon, meaning 1000s of them have sold-- He's in cups all over the country it would seem...
