1. Yes, there really is big difference between spring and autumn tea. Spring leaves normally have more containing and provide stronger, richer taste.
2. Taste of tea is decided not only by the quality of fresh leaves, but also the quality of processing, storage, etc. There are good autumn tea, and there are bad spring tea. But for the same region, if you taste autumn tea and feel good, you could expect much better spring tea of the same tree :D
3. About the size of leaves, for Menghai tea generally, spring tea has very short stalk while autumn tea normally has longer ones. But things may different in different regions, and depend on the habits of collecting.
