I have not done this, but it sound interesting. Just remember not to do it with anything expensive/rare, you dont want to change the experience.I did read an interesting article that combining milk with tea actually cancels out the antioxidants, so if you are drinking for health, I wouldn't recommend this.

I wouldn't recommend doing it with a green puerh, but you could have some interesting results with shu.

HAHAH! Funny Heavy.

I sent my parents some bricks of cooked pu for their health. They couldnt swallow it litterally. However, after a bit of honey and milk, they can't get enough of the stuff. I on the other hand feel there is something terrible wrong with adding it to pu. But then again, I am a purist. :D

I'm no purist, so always try every tea (sooner or later) with some sweetener. If it's an inexpensive Pu erh, what's it going to hurt? I actually prefer the Adagio Pu Dante with sweetener compared to on it's own.

That said, I usually try a few infusions straight to get a feel for the tea before I add anything.
