Now, one more thing, Hoppy. You should open a Flickr account and post these photos in the Flickr Puer Tea Group.

Your work load never ends around here!

Hop, I see you have a lot of Yong De bengs. Could you make me a list with a line of description each and a ranking list.

Man I need some money so I can actually start up a collection! I've got too many hobbies that drain all my money before it makes it to tea. And trying to buy a PS3 at the same time sure dosent help at all!

I took a look at some of my stash today to see how they were doing. The humidity where they live is normally 50-60%, so not too wet. They did smell wonderful as I took them out, so they are "cooking" at their own pace.

I think there is a lot of change in the first few months, the Bu Lang was pretty moist and very green looking on arrival, and quickly dried a bit and darkend.

The v93 is interesting, as most of what I find on the web is about the shu version, and this is the raw version.

They are not yet the rusty color of twenty year old sheng, but it seems the only way tea will get to be twenty years old is to wait :)

Cool stash! Thanks for Sharing.. The only one I actually own is the 6ftm. I do have the MengHai 7542 recipe that you listed but different years. Does your pu stay at 50-60 RH all year? If so, you might want to up it a bit more or you wont be drinking tea for a while. GOD DONT YOU JUST LOVE PUERH!

I plan on keeping them all intact (atleast for now) except for the one duplicate I have which I am waiting on my puerh yixing pot to come from YSLLC. Anyway, heres the information on these cakes.

All of these cakes are from YunNan YuanNian Tea, all 357g. The two on the top are the same cake, Century-to-Centry Collection No.7 (2007). The red one in the middle is a Yiwu Far Age Collection (2008). The lower left cake is a Far Age Collection Vista (2008), and the lower right cake is the Far Age Collection Autumn Vista(2008).

Oh, now I remember that whole episode. You negotiated a discount sale from him for several cakes. vins_n_tea on ebay. Looks like he is back to having nothing for sale anymore. I suspect he sells mostly via some other route and was just testing out ebay USA.

I'm glad I got the Premium Alliance cake (my only one) from him when I did.
