2010 Xiaguan Tibetan Red Flame FT Raw Mini Iron Beeng - Normally I don't like to buy Xiaguan unless it is special (first production or famous). This I cannot miss since it is not that expensive. Bought 2 just for sake of having it and see how it goes in the future...

2011 Golden Dayi Raw - To be honest, I bought this because of the wrapping. So nice. Pre-ordered mine earlier under '3 tons guy'. Upon arrival, most of the cartons were sold out. There is no samples yet as they said may not have enough. Hope in the next few days, there will be spare and samples to drink.

Pre-order price vs Upon arrival price differs 10%

So will this Golden Dayi appreciate like Gold? Only time can tell :)

2011 Dayi Yiwu Raw - Only can afford 1 piece. Look at how good the wrapping is. The paper material is good. There are a lot of chinese words all over the wrapping.

2kg box of Menghai Imperial grade gong ting 1980's.
No astringency, just clean pu-erh taste, nothing complex.

1999 5gm mini tuo, inexpensive and very drinkable, Zhongcha.
Taken from a box with chinese characters and marked with the year 2010 (but tea does not taste 2010)....Little astringency, drinkable inexpensive clean tea, more complex flavours than the gong ting.

Earlier this week, had dinner at a private club in a Hutong house at Wangfujing, was served puerh, and it was simply sublime, definitely gong ting, sweet, no astringency, herbal. Similar to a batch of tea that I purchased in very small quantity at Ole' Beijing's Financial district.
