It is interesting to note this piece on New York Times after Olympic Games in Beijing:

"Now the world is reverting to its normal state — a powerful Asia — and we will have to adjust. Just as many Americans know their red wines and easily distinguish a Manet from a Monet, our children will become connoisseurs of pu-er tea and will know the difference between guanxi and Guangxi, the Qin and the Qing. When angry, they may even insult each other as “turtle’s eggs.”"

Hehe, not until Puerh manufacturing expands to India..

Finding a drinkable vintage Puerh is already a history before American even heard of Puerh..

I for one am quite happy that more people are not interested in tea in the US. Supply and demand. The more people that jump on the wagon the more fakes, prices and crappy tea will rise. Just remember that next time you try to convert someone to tea, especially puerh. In ten years I dont want to see 2018 Menghai 7542 cakes going for $75. Thats why I am stocking up on my pu now. Let the coffee drinkers enjoy their coffee forever.

And good news is the young Chinese started to turn over for Coke and coffee! and abandon teas

Open a cafe to make money in China, not teahouse..

haha, I partially agree with you. Still, I can't help telling my friends about a good thing.
What will happen will happen -- and it's not a bad idea to stock up either way.
