all the tea vendors on ebay are now concealing the amount of stock they have. now it only says more than 10 available.

yeah I too noticed that. I base allot of purchases off of those numbers.

some sites do this to freak you guys out into buying. meanwhile, they have kegs and kegs full of this stuff somewhere....the saga continues.

Oldest rule of selling is to pretend you better buy now or the deal will disappear. Certainly, as indicated above, stuff can get sold out, but there is always something else to buy, like 802 instead of 801 batch, 7532 instead of 7542, etc.
That's true, but there's also the yearly price hike to think about. I'm trying to get in all my Menghai purchases before they all jump to the point of being too expensive. If it gets to that point and I haven't gotten tongs of the recipes I've wanted I'll just wait for next season.

There's no exact time for all of the tea, but usually it starts happening around the beginning of the next year. I'm trying to get my stuff before January.

If ebay continues with this horse**it I will just order my items from tea merchants I have a track record with without using ebay. I doubt Scott or most any of the others are any risk of not holding their end of the bargain.[/list]

Oh yeah.. Definitely, HouDe does it. One a particular sample or been will say that their is only 3 left and then Volia 8 the next. Clear way of getting people to bite and commit

I never really buy tea through ebay anyway due to it being more of a PITA than going through a vendor like Adagio, TeaSpring, or Hou De.
With so many options available, it's easy enough to take a pass on sites that just don't blow your mind.
