Preorder list wall. The tea shop will usually import a number of cartons based on the order. Some of the preorder will never reach the shelf, but some will. Price is usually very attractive and you will be surprised on how cheap it is. Buy in carton, buy in toong and buy in loose are 3 different pricing.



The tea that is usually preorder are branded tea (Dayi, Xiaguan, Mengku, Haiwan, etc). You have to trust the brand cause the shop sometimes doesn't have samples to drink as their profit margin is low and they couldn't afford to open it.

This shop is known for bringing branded tea at very low priced till other tea shops bad mouth them to the max The shop has really helped us as customers

1970's raw large loose leaves, just purchased from Maliandao, I asked the lady to give me a small sample.

At the restaurant, I asked the waiter if we can use our own tea, and he said "no problem", so I gave that sample to him. He put it into a pot, poured hot water and served it to us.
Much to our surprise, there was absolutely nothing wrong drinking this without rinsing it, it was so clean, it's unbelievable.
Obviously very well stored over 40 years.

40+ years of chen xiang flavour, honey sweet after many servings, smooth.
.....but it's not cheap.

2006 Dayi 660g Tuo Raw - A unique taste. Quite nice to drink and enjoyable. Good aftertaste. The aroma and sweetness hangs on quite long.

I'm starting my 90's 8582 marthon I am drinking the last of my EOT 96 sample today. Tomorow I am going to break off a piece of my 2009 cake. I have ordered another 96 sample from generation tea and samples of 98 8582 from houde and the chinese tea shop . Then I will most likely cap it all off with the sample of 85 8582 which I acquired at my visit with Tim at the Mandarins tea room. I think it will be interesting to see the differences based in storage condition and age.

Today for me was the 2010 Dayi "pu zhi wei" shu. It's still way too young to drink, as it has some strong bitter and chalky elements. Under those nasty flavors there is a nice plummy hint. I'm hoping that this tea loses those nasty wo dui flavors soon. I think I will try the 2009 version.

This mourning I started drinking the 97 camaphor taste yiwu which I recieved in the mail yersterday from mr. KLP. I only got thru four infusions befor my wife dumped it in the compost. thinking it was yesterdays 96 menghai grade A toucha.
The tea has an very strong camaphor taste. The body was a little thin but this tea seems potent enough for the long haul.
The tea is not as aged tasting as I would have thought by the look of the leaves. I have found this true whith other malaysian stored teas I've tried they seem to look aged faster. Has anyone else noticed this?

Was drinking it recently too from samples i received. I got almost 30 infusions out of it in one day. That was quite impressive.

Today's puerh was the 2007 Silver Dayi sheng, a nice earthy smoky sweet mellow bulk brewing for the thermos. Not the best way to treat a nice tea, but I didn't want shu pu today.

Sipping on 96' Dayi toucha from Bana. Wasn't that excited about this one when i first got it but it's sorta grown on me. It's still a little dry for my taste. A few more years might do it some good, not that its going to last that long.

Mengku brand with Big leave. Looks nice. No sample though

2011 Xia Guan Nan Nuo Raw Tuo - I can only get smokiness out of this. Too early to drink

2011 Xia Guan Shen Tai Old Tree Raw Tuo - Weirdness taste. The colour of the brew looks nice

I think more than that can be overkill sometimes. It depends on if you're sharing though... I'm kinda greedy when it comes to my Pu so I don't get very fancy.
