You know, that tea did sell out pretty quickly on skip4tea.

I paid no mind, though. There is clearly a crazed Dayi bubble going on, and with younger, post 2k teas, there's no way that it won't pop, and pop for good. In the meantime, instead of chasing after the newest iteration of some obscure special edition Dayi people start pulling out of warehouses, buy something young and good. If you're buying old, you really should overpay for *old* tea, at *least* 14-15 years old.

90s Songpin from Puerh Shop. I love this cake, glad I have a few. I'd imagine this was simple commercial tea back in its day. Looking forward to watching the traditional storage fade on this one.

2010 Spring Nan Nuo - Shi Tou Xin Zhai loose Mao Cha from Norbu--a very nice sweet puerh, herbs, anise, spice, with some bite that becomes apparent as it sits a while after infusing.

It makes me eager to try the Nannuo I ordered from Nada--which, it turns out, was sent back across the Atlantic*, and should shortly be on its way back to me. By the time it gets to me again, it will have gone from China to England to Los Angeles to England to China--it will be a very well-traveled tea for such a youngster!

(*I think due to an error in my post office, no reflection on the service at EoT)

Dayi 7542 Raw 2011 - Good aroma. Good kick. Not a drink now tea.

Dayi 70th Anniversary Ripe 2010 - Tasted many times and still find the taste unusual being a ripe. Looking at the dry leaves, it is greenish for a ripe. Looks like ripe, doesn't taste like ripe.

Dayi Yun Mei Raw 2003 - This Dayi is most likely fake as it is not listed in the books. Even the wrapping style is not Menghai. But, the taste is very good. Has the strong 'zhang xiang' taste. This is one example of a 'fake' or 'not registered' tea but is very good.

1940s Liu An Leaves - Medicine taste. Smooth. Sweet. Long lasting brew. Reminds me of the 1920s Liu An stick. But the this is much much much much much much more expensive.
