Someone should tell the tea merchants and puer speculators to hit the US government up for a bailout. The line forms over there.

i read in the chinese pu erh tea book that sheng cha is typically stored for 5-8 years before selling and that shou cha is typically stored for 3-5 years before selling.

i hope that people start to demand those things. if someone does have experience with pu erh back in the days please do share... i would think that the new tea that we pay for right now are even more expensive than those 3-5 year shou and 5-8 year sheng even when you add inflation. i think back then, specially in hong kong, pu erh is just classified as drinkable and undrinkable, undrinkable being not yet ready or still too harsh, while drinkable is the one thats mild, soothing and comforting to drink.

just my thoughts... any one care to comment?
