Many theories abound about Qi but I do believe that some teas are loaded with a combination of chemicals that really work. Personally I have drank a lot of puerh and only once did I really reach a level that was like being high. It was in Montreal and the owner was letting me, my brother and a friend sample various puerhs, I think 30 year loose leaf, and 20 year loose leaf, as well as some newer tibetan variety. We had the first 3 steepings of each in ridiculously small cups... smaller than shot glasses. By cups 6-7 I was about to burst out laughing, and I remember my younger brother looking at me while wobbling and saying "I think I'm losing my faculties" while drool almost came out of his mouth. My other friend looked very blissful and was also trying not to start laughing. Anyway I would love to hear the details about these special kind of sessions, specifically the teas that caused them.
Your story alone brings a large grin to my face :D

Makes no difference
If it's warm or hot
Cause you just got to give that gong fu
Everything you've got

Aged sheng, I feel the most from it. It's relaxing, and a bit euphoric.
