Pu Bricks

I just ordered the Xiagun 8100 and the Happy Tuo and almost ordered a brick, but after browsing around none looked very appealing. I have had some decent basic tasting ripe bricks. Have you ever had a good raw brick puerh? ripe? and please specify

Definitely. I like these sheng bricks:
08 YS brick of DeHong
08 Hai Lang Hao Jing Mai
02 Bu Lang Mountain brick
LBZ mini-brick
Haiwan Lao Tong Zhi

the only shu brick I have is the good old Haiwan 9908 nuggets.
in general it seems like bricks are about as hit-miss as tuos and bings, in my experience. but then, I usually only buy stuff that's recommended to me, or that I've sampled.

PS has some 2007 Xiaguan Tibetan Flames for $4.99 each, and they are very good for the price. I have 2 but want to get more just to age. Although these brick probably fall in the high fluoride category if drank in high quantities.
