Re: Where are all the 2009 cakes!!!!!!!!!!????????
Interesting! I've just traded two of my 8582 <801> with someone. For me, if money is no objection, I would really like to have a tong of Menghai YiWu Zheng Shan 2009. IMHO, this probably the nicest young sheng I tried so far.

That's a terrific inexpensive tea that I would think has a pretty good future ahead of it.shogun89 wrote:Its alright, Im hoping that they can improve... I have 4, so its not too big a deal. I'll just give them some time then make judgments. I'd still love a tong of '08 8582.

Has anyone tried anything from Guan Zi Zai? Scott only has their 2009 cakes in stock, and it seems like it's a newer factory/related to Yong Pin Hao somehow. I've sampled their Bu Lang and Jing Mai and was pleased by both, but I'm a newbie in sampling young sheng so maybe it's just me...

They've been around longer than 09. Check out the Awazon eBay store. I think they have the largest selection of Guan Zi Zai available to us.Maitre_Tea wrote:Has anyone tried anything from Guan Zi Zai? Will check these sources out...what have been peoples' impression of their offerings, especially their 2009 ones?
