Hello from The Ohio State University

Hello all! I am a student at the Ohio State University. I have read a lot around here on TeaChat and finally decided to join. If you couldn't tell by my name, I am a runner. I was introduced to tea about 8 months ago, and I can't believe I had gone my entire life missing out on something so great. Running is my top passion, but tea is becoming a closer and closer 2nd. I'm a green tea drinker; I've been exposed to other types (black, some herbals here and there), but I always find myself gravitating back to green. I've tried various types of green, and I absolutely love japanese greens (probably due to my tea mentor being a gyokuro drinker). I'm about to purchase my first kyusu, and I'm really excited! I look forward to learning a lot here!!

Hello RFT,
Welcome!
Please let us know your experiences.

Are you connected with the OSU tea group headed up by Sherab Chen? Would love to have updates on the gatherings.

H. from Cleveland.

I'm not currently connected with the OSU tea group. I wasn't sure if OSU had a tea group/club, but I was planning on looking into when I returned to school next month. This is great news! Any information you could provide me with regarding the tea group would be wonderful (how to join/get in contact with/etc)!
