Hi Tea Chatters,
I have been a tea drinker and collector of teapots for many years. I live in Alpharetta Georgia, where, whenever someone mentions the word 'Tea', we automatically think of heavily sweetened black tea, made with mass-market tea bags (Lipton, Tetley, etc.), or ordering a big Mickey-D's sweet tea at the drive-through.
I was introduced to loose leaf tea, and in particular green tea from China and Japan, by my in-laws, about 20 years ago. It didn't take very long for me to branch out and explore the vast landscape of tea and blends - I was hooked.
Many years later, I developed a strong liking for Yixing Teapots, and finally started a store (which I'm not supposed to talk about here, so I won't).
Anyway, I love tea and intriguing teapots, and I hope to find others with similar interests here, who want to talk about treasures discovered in the wide world of tea and tea pottery.
Best Wishes & Hope to Talk Soon,
Casey
